Kalwall daylighting — gymnasiumABCO Glazing supplied and installed the full glass and aluminum scope for the Yeshiva of Greater Monsey — a Pre-K through 8th-grade school in Monsey, NY designed by NK Architects and recognized with an AIA design award. The facility brings together education, religion, and recreation around a central courtyard, with each function expressed through its own color and form.
At the heart of the building, the chapel is clad in Jerusalem stone imported from Israel. Set within that wall are twelve windows, each representing one of the 12 tribes of Israel. ABCO supplied and installed the window frames and set the leaded / stained-glass panels in place — the signature glasswork of the project. Aluminum framing was provided primarily by Gamco, with two-color and stained-glass window systems by Sussman.
Supplied and installed the building's aluminum-framed glass curtainwall façade.
Custom windows — yellow on the exterior, clear anodized on the interior (Sussman systems).
Exterior aluminum-framed storefront entrance systems.
Interior glass storefront systems throughout the facility.
